If you are wondering if this is the right time to start therapy- it is the best time to start therapy! If this is your first time seeking therapy, I will guide you gently through the process and take time to answer any questions and address any concerns. We will start of the first session by you telling me more about yourself and your life thus far. Then we will develop goals together. I am a results driven therapist and most likely will assign homework regularly; sometimes it is recording a behavior, changing a behavior, journaling around a specific event or feeling, reading a book, or even listening to a podcast. I bring a mindfulness approach to my sessions and treat the whole person. Some approaches I use:
